We find relevant to mention a few topics before you refer to the attachments:

You can change some money at EL DORADO AIRPORT (upon arrival)
1. ARRIVAL DETAILS / ACCOMMODATION / INTERNAL FLIGHTS (attachment 1)
Attachment 1 is the stand reserve form for your participation. Please fill it out and send it back.
We would appreciate your confirmation, whether you are attending both cities (Bogotá & Medellín),
or only one city. Then, we'll send you an invoice & bank account details.
Please provide your flight details ASAP (date of arrival in Colombia, time, airline, flight number)
If accommodation is required at the venue of the event we need to organize bookings this week
If you are participating in Medellín we need to organize your return flight from Bogotá, and accommodation.
The price of this internal flight is not included in your fees. We have organized the payment of the internal flight
(Bogota-Medellin-Bogota) on Friday the 10th of August before our reception party. You can pay in USD, in COLOMBIAN PESOS
or with CREDIT CARD. The travel agent will be looking after you from 600pm to 900pm, so that you can organize your itinerary with him.
This is a 20 minutes flight and the approximate cost is USD280 ($490.000 pesos)

2. INVITATION LETTER FOR IMMIGRATION IN COLOMBIA (attachment 2)
Please find attached the letter you need to submit at Customs/ Immigration when you arrive in Colombia.
You just need to fill the heading out with your name and your Institute details.

3. AIRPORT TRANSFER
The Hotel charges USD 20 ($38.000 pesos). Confirmation required. A taxi normally costs USD 15 ($28,500) If you prefer to take a taxi just bring with you the following note: HOTEL La Fontana Av 127 # 15s- 10 Diagonal a Unicentro
4. MARKETING MATERIAL
Please find below some important recommendations for those institutions that have not sent us marketing material yet. Read the information carefully:
1. Mark the box in a visible part with : " NO COMMERCIAL VALUE"
2. A box can not weight more than 10 kilograms (each).
3. There must be no more than 100 units in each box of any material.
4. In the commercial invoice at the courier company please explain:
a) Full description of contents: Brochures / Documents / No commercial value
b) Terms of trade / Destination duties: Shipper (not: Receiver)
If you are going to send a lot of brochures, which we believe, please pack them inmany light boxes, instead of in a big heavy one. Otherwise there is a risk they will be stucked at customs, or even worse, get lost.One important recommendation: Confirm with the DHL / FEDEX agent in the post office that no extra costs will be charged in Colombia.
